Arrived in Banda Aceh May 25 2007. Toured the Tsunami affected areas and met some of the locals who survived. Hard to comprehend the scale of the event, although a Tanker 2km inland did help.


The Coastline - a damaged cemet factory in the background was the only thing left standing after the Tsunami hit this Western Part of Aceh.

Managed to explore "Camel Island" 60 minutes by boat from Aceh.
